I am 70 years old and don’t think anyone really wants to see an old wrinkled up mechanic, so, I am showing myself as a more presentable young man. I began working on our farm in central Kansas until I was 18, and then started welding at farm machinery manufacturing factories around Kansas. At the age of 21, I made my mind up to follow in my fathers footsteps, and enter into the Heavy Equipment repair field. I was then, and am still today, totally focused on understanding and working on heavy equipment, as well designing and fabricating metal machinery. I continue to work at 70, mostly on a consulting basis in the area of Maui Hawaii. My genius is simply mechanical, and has been my only work devotion for the past 50 years of my working career.

My preference and majority of work has been on John Deere and Caterpillar construction equipment. My work title in the field is called ” welder heavy duty repairman”. I have applied for patents in the diverse mechanical art field as well electronic and hydraulic since 1971. I have three United States Patents that have enabled me to enjoy the past 30 years on the island of Maui in Hawai’i. I want to share my inventing experiences, and communicate the knowledge I have acquired throughout the past 50 years of designing valuable products to patent, with those individuals beginning the creative process of inventing a product to patent.
